Terms of use
Using OUQM means agreeing to these. They are short on purpose.
What the service is
A QR sticker for your windscreen. Anyone who scans it can send you one of a fixed set of alerts, without either of you seeing the other’s number.
It is not an emergency service
OUQM is not a substitute for the police, an ambulance or civil defence. If someone could be hurt, call 9999 first. We do not guarantee that any alert is delivered, or how quickly.
Orders and delivery
Muscat governorate only, in two to three working days, cash on delivery. We do not take returns for a change of mind; anything that arrives damaged or faulty is replaced free, which is your right under Omani consumer protection law.
Acceptable use
Do not use OUQM to harass, threaten or pester anyone. Alerts are limited to fixed types with no free text, and we rate-limit each scanner. Misuse can disable a sticker and may fall under Oman’s Cyber Crime Law.
Limits
The service is provided as is. We are not responsible for what happens to your vehicle, for an alert that does not arrive, or for what someone who scans your sticker does. None of this affects rights you have under Omani law that cannot be signed away.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
